ASSESS: SPSS USERS' GROUP, 23rd ANNUAL MEETING
FRIDAY 8TH OCTOBER 2008

The 23rd annual meeting of ASSESS, the SPSS Users' Group, will take place on Friday,8th October 2009 at the Alcuin Research Resource Centre (ARRC) in the Dept. of Health Sciences, University of York. ASSESS is an independent user group for SPSS, a computer package for analysing and presenting data. It is run by users, for users and is completely independent of manufacturers of the software. The meeting is open to all users of SPSS and to anyone interested in SPSS. Postgraduate students pay a reduced registration fee. A programme and form is available in word format and also in pdf format for your convenience.

THE PROVISIONAL PROGRAMME**

Registration and coffee begins at 10am. Papers and other events will run from 10.30am to about 5.00pm. Coffee, lunch and afternoon tea are included in the registration fee. A timetable will be e-mailed to delegates in advance of the meeting - a provisional program can be downloaded in PDF format and Word format.

Venue

The venue is the Alcuin Research Resource Centre (ARRC) on York University campus located in Heslington, 2 miles to the south-east of the city centre. It takes 10-15 minutes in a taxi from the railway station. The Number 4 bus runs regularly to the University from York railway station (see http://www.yorkshiretravel.net/).
